I Ching
by Martin Burke

Deliverance

arousing thunder and abysmal water

deliverance from the southwest
good fortune -if

the superior man forgives mistakes and misdeeds

                             *

no blame

a suitable gift
perseverance

the gift that is carried furtively
leads to humiliation

a companion arrives
you can trust him

the superior man delivers himself
and proves that he is in earnest

the prince takes aim
and hits the mark
