I Ching
by Martin Burke

The Caldron

clinging flame and gentle wind

success

the superior man makes his fate firm

                             *

the caldron is overturned
no blame

some are envious
but there will be no harm

you are impeded and rain falls
even so good fortune will come

the legs of the caldron are broken
all is spoiled and spilled

golden rings, golden rings
perseverance brings success

rings of jade
good fortune
