I Ching
by Martin Burke

The Wanderer

clinging flame and keeping still

the seeker
perseverance brings success

the superior
sees the end in the beginning

                             *

the seeker holds with trivial things
there will be misfortune

he comes to an inn

the inn burns down
danger

he rests and regains his property

with one arrow he downs a pheasant
this brings praise and rewards

he laughs but will lament
he will loose what is precious
