The Receptive

earth above, earth below -this is receptive

this brings sublime success
in the way the horse does to the plough

leading by action the superior man will fail
yet, if he follows he will find success

friends are in the west and south
relinquish the east and the north

persevere and there will be success

yes, earth is receptive as one is in devotion

the superior man is he who carries the world

                            *

after the frost comes the ice

straight and great without purpose
yet nothing is without purpose

in the service of the king
bring your acts to completion

there will be no praise, no blame

yellow brings supreme fortune

dragons fight in the fields

lasting perseverance succeeds
