Poetry and Fiction Chapbook Prize Guidelines
We are accepting submissions from November 1, 2009-January 31, 2010.
Please read guidelines carefully.

Poetry Chapbook Contest
Include the following:
- Send 3-24 pages of poetry
- Blank title page
- Contact page with title of manuscript, include phone number and e-mail address
- Check or money order for $11.00 payable to Cervena Barva Press
- If submitting a manuscript from outside the USA, International money order only
- SASE is not required as long as you provide an e-mail address
No need to send acknowledgement page or cover letter. We want to see the work only.
- NO manuscripts will be returned.
- Winner receives $100.00 and 25 copies
- All entries receive a copy of the winning chapbook
Judge: We have a prominent poet judging. He has been featured in Poets and Writers Magazine, and on their cover.
He is the author of numerous books and has asked us not to reveal his name until the winner is announced
Fiction Chapbook Contest
Include the following:
- Send 24 pages of fiction, ok if it is more than one story
- Published or unpublished ok as long as you own the rights
- Contact page with title of manuscript, include phone number and e-mail address
- Check or money order for $12.00 payable to Cervena Barva Press
- If submitting a manuscript from outside the USA, International money order only
- SASE is not required as long as you provide an e-mail address
No need to send acknowledgement page or cover letter. We want to see the work only.
- NO manuscripts will be returned.
- Winner receives $100.00 and 25 copies
- All entries receive a copy of the winning chapbook

Červená Barva Press will read open queries for books and chapbooks for the 2011 season from January 2, 2010 until February 10, 2010 only.

- If I am interested in seeing more of your work, I will let you know.
- Failure to follow the query guidelines will disqualify your work from being read.
